Bond, Sir Robert Bond

This is the Sir Robert Bond which will transport you to Cartwright, twice a week. Make sure you have reservations in advance!

U-turn

In a previous life, this ferry must have been for rail cars. You can see the vestiges of the rails on the floor. That also means that there's only one way in and out. You'll have to do a U-turn within the vessel. And once the cars are on board, you'll get to see some acrobatics for parking campers, trailers and cargo.

Hydrobatics show

While the ferry is preparing for departure, you may wonder why it seems like everyone in town is out on a personal watercraft. Upon departure, you'll see why! It's a great spectacle watching them jump the ships wake in turn.

Foggy navigation

The next morning, if Cartwright is as fogged in as it is in the picture, you'll witness an impressive feat of docking. Hopefully you've sprung for a dorm bunk if you plan on being well rested for the final portion of the drive which awaits you!
